What is the value of careers guidance and coaching for adults and professionals?

We spend over 3,500 days at work in our lifetimes (accountancyage.com). Finding a role that fulfils you is an investment in your future. Talking to a knowledgeable professional about your hopes, concerns and options is the starting point to finding a fulfilling path.

One-to-one careers advice sessions are beneficial as you get personalised advice, based around your skills and values. Dedicated time and a safe space to talk about possible career goals is often the springboard people need to move forward.

What do adult careers coaching sessions entail?

Our careers advice sessions for adults are one-to-one meetings online or on the phone. We can do in person meetings if you can travel to our Huddersfield based centre. Sessions are one hour or 30 minutes and give you the opportunity to talk things through with a trained professional.

The session is designed around what you need from it. Our advisers can help you explore new job, promotion or learning opportunities. You may be wanting to start out in a new career, in which case an adviser could help relate your skills, qualifications and experience to growth industries and specific roles. A coaching session could provide the help you need to apply for new positions and support you through the interview process.
