Appleton Academy hold first careers fair.
Appleton Academy students from all year groups spent a day at the schools first ever annual careers fair organised by C&K Careers.
Over 600 students had to the chance to chat to universities, colleges, training providers and over 30 local employers including Capita, Specsavers, Hollywood Bowl and Lloyds Banking Group. Students had the chance to research local career opportunities and also to look further afield to West Yorkshire and beyond.
Employers attending the event were impressed with the students’ attitude and their questioning techniques, adding that the event was ‘extremely well organised’
